Renters can rest assured that all passengers (family) are well covered and full payment is guaranteed by the BC government. This insurance is valid in Canada and the USA. It is simple and transparent and covers any person with a driver's license (no small print creating limitations or escape clauses.) The cost for this insurance is $26.00 per day **see below for 50% savings** and will be collected upon signing the rental agreement (cash) when picking up the RV. These insurance fees do not calculate online and I recommend buying "Roadside Assistance" because rental RV's do not supply tire change tools. Coverage details: 10 million full and third party liability (your entire family is protected, even if the other driver's insurance fails to pay) $1000 deductible for vehicle collision (at fault full repair or replacement of vehicle) $300 deductible for comprehensive coverage (fire, vandalism, exterior damage from rocks, asphalt, or tar due to road construction, windshield replacement, and vehicle theft (full vehicle replacement). ** Save up to 50% on insurance fees ** if principle driver provides an "Abstract Claims History Letter" showing he/she has a safe driving record, free of traffic violations or accidents for 10 years, the daily insurance fees can be reduced to $13.00 per day (same full coverage).
