Had no problems at all! Doug was a great owner!
Doug is very nice, helpful, and very easy going. His trailer is in great condition and was easy to use. He takes very good care of his trailer and equipment. We had an excellent experience and will definitely rent his trailer again.
I had expressed to Doug that the instructions, given only verbally were not adequate for a "newby" in charge of a travel trailer. The amount of information was a bit overwhelming and clear written instructions regarding important matters such as "water connection hookup" should have been provided. Doug is a very nice person and he gave lots of information. The travel trailer was beautiful and we had a wonderful experience. At the time of checkout I expressed to Doug that I was not happy paying full price for the damages in question but was willing to meet him half way. I did not get a response back from him so instead of having a confrontation after such a wonderful holiday time, I simply signed for the damages. I later realized that Doug mentioned he is "hard of hearing" and he may not have heard what I said to him regarding my disagreement to pay full damages. So, I am willing to pay half the damages considering all the instructions were give verbally and if I might add, done in the pouring rain, yet nothing giving to me on paper to reference important issues and guidelines for operations and care of the trailer. Thank you.
Trailer was better than expected. Everything was perfect! Doug was great. Pick up and drop off was very simple and easy. Will definitely use again!!
