She will zip you and your best friend or loved one around the Rockies in comfort and style without breaking the bank, leaving you with plenty of extra play money to enjoy the best that Western Canada has to offer! At her heart is a smooth and very economical V6 engine, meaning that you'll be getting around 10L/100km and saving some $$$ at the pump as well as the lives of a few polar bears! She is an absolute pleasure to drive, especially long distances with all the great features you'd expect from a modern vehicle. The sleeping and living set-up in Black Betty has been kept minimalistic and simple for both the ease of use and allow for more space and flexibility for the souls she carries. Inside you will find: - National parks passes to save you over $20 a day - A super comfy double mattress with fresh blankets and pillows - Two comfy chairs for you to sit in and gaze in wonderment at your surroundings - A small fold up table for cooking, preparing meals, playing cards, plotting world domination etc. - A double burner propane gas stove (with included propane) and enough cookware and utensils to cook a gourmet meal - A large water container to fill up in mountain streams - A good sized cooler to keep everything cold - USB charging ports (an inverter for charging laptops, DSLRs etc is also available to rent) - Satellite radio with 120 channels and AUX input - Curtains for privacy and sleeping in (holidays are equally for sleeping in as they are adventuring we think!) - Remote controlled fairy lights throughout - Lots of room for your gear - Maps, lots of useful information and tips from local experience, playing cards, night lights and lots more fun stuff! Pick-up and drop-off locations are preferred to be Banff or Canmore, but we can discuss Calgary or other places for a fee. We also have access to SUPs, canoes, kayaks, bikes, hiking gear and more which we can hook you up with on the cheap, just let us know what you'd like to do whilst here exploring and we'd be happy to help. Also available to rent are GPS units, an inverter, a thermoelectric fridge, high quality backcountry camping/hiking equipment, portable speakers, WiFi units and more, just ask us :) Having been lucky enough to call Banff National Park home for the past few years I love sharing inside tips and knowledge about how to escape the tourist traps and see some of the areas best kept secrets, so be rest assured I'd be happy to point any of our guests in the right direction.
